All pre-orders are allocated on a first in first served basis from the date of receipt of payment or deposit.

All indicated dates for pre-orders are estimates ONLY (ETA) and cannot be guaranteed. DSSE is not responsible for any direct or indirect costs or losses incurred as a result of delays in arrival of pre-orders.

Custom or special orders

Any items outside of our regular range that are made to order will require a 50%                 non-refundable deposit. This includes custom colours.

3a. Delivery times and delivery charges

The rates applied on the DSSE website at checkout are calculated based on weight and delivery location and are inclusive of GST.

We aim to dispatch your order as quickly as possible. Orders for in-stock items will normally be processed and dispatched within 1 to 3 working days from our warehouse located in Thomastown, Victoria.

Once dispatched, deliveries can take 1-9 business days in transit depending on your location within Australia. All quoted delivery times are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed.

3b Redelivery, redirection & added charges

Quoted shipping fees are charged in relation to the initial delivery attempt only. DSSE will dispatch stock by taking into account all information that is provided by clients on their orders to ensure orders are dispatched quickly.

Once items have been dispatched, clients will receive tracking details to the nominated email/phone number on their order. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure their information is correct and they follow their order delivery via the tracking.

Should no one be available to receive the order it will be returned to the nearest courier depot for redelivery.

The Redelivery Charge is a fee of $45.00 (inc. GST) for small orders and $99.00 (inc. GST) for large/bulky orders. This fee is payable prior to the redelivery being approved. Once this fee is paid, we will communicate with our couriers to deliver at a time where someone is available to receive the goods.

Redirection fees will be charged if you wish to change the delivery address after the goods have left our warehouse and are already in transit. This fee is payable prior to the redirection being approved.

Change of address prior to goods leaving our warehouse will incur a $30 (inc. GST) administration fee.

Any order changes after processing will incur a $30 (inc. GST) administration fee.

Splitting an order for delivery: If you wish to split a consignment, freight will be charged based on the individual shipment value of each order. This can be calculated on our website. A $30 admin fee will also be charged to split an order into multiple shipments.

3c. Large Furniture Deliveries

Goods will be sent by our nominated carrier service. DSSE might contact you for further clarification regarding access to your premises and timeframes after your order has been placed.

As we have to rely on third party carriers no delivery dates or particular requests can be guaranteed. Every effort will be made to accommodate all requests but DSSE is not liable for any delays or losses resulting from requests not being followed by our chosen couriers.

3d. Holding orders in our warehouse location

In stock items can be held in our warehouse for a maximum of 60 Days once a minimum 30% deposit has been made.

If the order is not finalised by the completion of this period, DSSE reserves the right to charge storage fees as outlined in our full terms and conditions; section 13(a) which you can download here.

FAILURE TO ANSWER/RESPOND to attempts to contact you after this time will lead to your order being cancelled after 3 attempts via email or phone. Orders will be cancelled in line with our cancellation policy and attract a 30% holding fee. Your order will be refunded to your original method of payment minus the fee.

SALE ITEMS STRICTLY, WILL NOT BE HELD.

  1. Refund Policy

DSSE does not offer refunds or exchanges for ‘change of mind’. Once your order has been delivered we will not accept any return of products.

Can I cancel an order?

Please keep in mind that when you order items and pay a deposit they are put aside for you and we are unable to sell these to other clients. Cancelling your order puts us, as a business in a difficult position.

If you notify us in writing via email [email protected] within 24h (including weekends) of placing your order we will process a full refund minus a $30 admin fee.

Any cancellation after 24h will incur a 30% cancellation fee.

Cancellations made after the dispatch of your order, but prior to it’s delivery, will need to be returned at the customer’s cost. You will receive a refund of the product minus a 30% restocking fee once the product has been returned to our warehouse.

All custom order cancellations will result in the loss of the original 50% non refundable deposit.

What about Pre-Orders or Back-orders?

Pre-ordered items are allocated to clients as soon as a sale is finalised. This means we remove it from sale and are unable to sell it to other clients. For this reason, all pre-order cancellations will be treated the same as a regular order cancellation and the 30% cancellation fee will apply.

We understand that sometimes delays in incoming shipments can lead to the need to cancel orders. All dates are only estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Any orders that need to be cancelled if the original arrival date has passed by 3 weeks of more will receive a full refund.

Returns Policy

Returned goods will only be accepted where a written returns authorisation has been given by DSSE management. The relevant reference number must be quoted on accompanying documentation.
