You can run a coupon campaign with a group buying site that services your area. Look for a local equivalent to Groupon, for instance, and offer a special deal such as a cut and colour or highlights for a deep discount. This will bring people in once and if they have a good experience, they may come back again.
Coupons can also be offered via a refer a friend or via printable coupons from your website (tip: link to it from Twitter and Facebook and consider setting up a newsletter. People who subscribe to your newsletter can get a copy of a valuable coupon and you’ll have their email address for future marketing campaigns)
