All products and product information available on this website are intended for qualified or training professionals such as hairdressers, beauty therapists, barbers and nail technicians only and are for sale on a strictly business to business basis. Customers should be competent in using the products sold on this website. DSSE will not be held responsible for any injury or damages in unqualified users of our products. We reserve the right to ask for proof of professional status, and refuse the order if we believe the person not to be a trade customer. As a business user, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are insured for products that you are using. Products on this site are not for sale to members of the general public.

Please read the terms and conditions carefully and do not hesitate to contact us if you require further information or clarification. If you do not accept these terms and conditions, please discontinue your purchase.

This website is made available by us, DSE Holdings Pty Ltd (DSSE) and all references to ‘we’ and ‘us’ are to DSSE. All visitors to our website are referred to as ‘you’.

1. The Contact between us

A binding contract for the sale and purchase of goods between you and us will come into effect when you place your order online or directly with us. Upon receipt of your order, an order confirmation along with an order reference number will be sent to the e-mail address provided by you on the registration form.

2. Price and payment

We reserve the right to revise at any time the price of goods offered for sale on our website without notice. All orders for goods are subject to availability and DSSE reserves the right to refuse to supply to any individual or company for whatever reason.

All prices are inclusive of GST (10%) and are quoted in Australian dollar.

Payment in full is required prior to the dispatch of goods. We accept PayPal, all major credit cards, cash, ZipPay and direct deposit as our payment methods. We strictly do not accept cheques.

DSSE is happy to accept deposit payments for in stock items, however the maximum time held for orders are 60 days. Failure to pay any monies owed will mean your order will be forfeited and a 30% cancellation fee will be charged. Sale items will only be held for a maximum of 7 days.

Deposit payments are non-refundable and must be a minimum of 30% of your total order value. Stock is not secured till we receive your deposit payment.

Sign up discount – a 10% discount will be applied to regular (full) priced items upon sign up. This discount does not apply to items already on sale.

3. Pre-Orders & Custom Orders

Pre-ordering your items will require either a 30% deposit or full payment. Once payment is received and cleared, DSSE will allocate and reserve your items from the relevant incoming container shipments.

All pre-orders are allocated strictly on a first in, first served basis based on the date of cleared payment or deposit. Orders that include pre-order items will be dispatched only once all items in the order have arrived into stock.

All dates indicated for pre-orders are estimated only (ETA) and cannot be guaranteed. DSSE is not responsible for any direct, indirect, or consequential costs, losses, or delays arising from the arrival time of pre-order shipments.

3a. Custom or Special Orders

Any items outside of our regular stocked range, including custom-made items or custom colours, will require a 50% non-refundable deposit before production begins.
Custom or special-order items cannot be cancelled, refunded, or amended once production has commenced.Minimum order quantities may apply.

4. Delivery Times & Delivery Charges

Shipping rates displayed at checkout are calculated based on weight and delivery location and are inclusive of GST.

We aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible. Orders for in-stock items are usually processed and dispatched within 1 to 3 working days from our Thomastown, Victoria warehouse.

Once dispatched, deliveries typically take 1–9 business days, depending on your location within Australia. DSSE provides tracking information supplied by the freight company. Please note that all delivery dates and times are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed. Any special delivery instructions requested by the customer will be passed on to the freight carrier; however, they remain subject to the carrier’s discretion and may not always be accommodated.

4a. Redelivery, redirection & added charges

Quoted shipping fees are charged in relation to the initial delivery attempt only. DSSE will dispatch stock by taking into account all information that is provided by clients on their orders to ensure orders are dispatched quickly.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the delivery address provided in any order confirmation or quote is correct before proceeding with the order. DSSE is not liable for any errors, delays, or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery information.

For residential deliveries, the customer agrees that an authority to leave (ATL) will apply unless alternative arrangements are made with DSSE before placing the order. Once ATL has been granted, the risk of loss or damage passes to the customer as soon as the freight provider confirms delivery.

Once items have been dispatched, clients will receive tracking details to the nominated email/phone number on their order. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure their information is correct and they follow their order delivery via the tracking.

Should no one be available to receive the order it will be returned to the nearest courier depot for redelivery.

The redelivery charge is a fee of $45.00 (inc. GST) for small orders and $99.00 (inc. GST) for large/bulky orders. This fee is payable prior to the redelivery being approved. Once this fee is paid, we will communicate with our couriers to deliver at a time where someone is available to receive the goods.

Fees for depot collections are charged at the same rate as the redelivery fees listed above. These fees apply even when a redelivery is not performed, as additional courier charges are incurred when freight is returned to the depot due to failed delivery attempts or incorrect delivery instructions.

Redirection fees will be charged if you wish to change the delivery address after the goods have left our warehouse and are already in transit. This fee is payable prior to the redirection being approved.

Change of address prior to goods leaving our warehouse will incur a $30 (inc. GST) administration fee.

Any order changes will incur a $30 (inc. GST) administration fee.

Splitting an order for delivery: If you wish to split a consignment, freight will be charged based on the individual shipment value of each order. This can be calculated on our website. A $30 admin fee will also be charged to split an order into multiple shipments.

4b. Large Furniture Deliveries

Large furniture items are delivered using DSSE’s nominated carrier service, depending on your location. After placing an order, DSSE may contact you to confirm access requirements, delivery restrictions, or preferred timeframes.

As large-item deliveries rely on third-party carriers, specific delivery dates and times cannot be guaranteed. DSSE is not liable for delays, missed delivery windows, or any loss arising from carrier scheduling or the inability to fulfil requested delivery instructions.

Unless prior arrangements such as a premium delivery service have been confirmed, all large-furniture deliveries are completed as standard kerbside delivery.

What to Expect with Kerbside Delivery

  • Items are delivered on a pallet to the nearest kerbside accessible by the delivery vehicle.
  • The driver will unload the pallet using a tail-lift truck to a safe, secure kerbside location.
  • Drivers cannot move items inside your premises or beyond areas accessible by pallet jack.
  • Pallet deliveries occur Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding public holidays.
  • Heavy or oversized items (e.g., treatment beds, desks, or bulky furniture) are always delivered on pallets. This will be indicated on each product’s information page.  
 

Premium / White Glove Delivery

Upgrade to our Premium White Glove Service for a complete delivery and setup solution. Depending on your location, this service may include:

  • Delivery and placement in your selected room.
  • Full assembly and setup of your furniture.
  • Removal of all packaging materials and pallets.
  • Upstairs deliveries (where accessible and safe).

All charges for premium delivery and installation assume the site is ready for our team, which means:

  • The area must be cleared of furniture and any obstacles.
  • No other work should be taking place in the installation zone.
  • Any existing furniture like desks or workstations should be removed beforehand.

DSSE uses independent third-party drivers for our Premium White Glove delivery service. While all reasonable care is taken, DSSE is not responsible for any damage caused to your property (including floors, walls, door frames, lifts, staircases, or furnishings) during the delivery or installation process. By proceeding with this service, you acknowledge and accept these risks and agree that DSSE bears no liability for any property damage incurred.

4c. Apartment & PO Box Deliveries

DSSE cannot deliver to apartments, PO Boxes, or any locations where ground-floor direct access is not available.

4d. Holding Orders in Our Warehouse

In-stock items can be held for a maximum of 60 days once a minimum 30% deposit has been paid.

If the order is not finalised and paid in full by the end of this period, DSSE may charge storage fees of up to $100.00 per week.

If DSSE cannot reach you after three attempts (via email or phone), your order will be cancelled in accordance with our cancellation policy and will attract a 30% holding fee. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method minus the fee.

Sale items will not be held under any circumstances.

4e. Order Collections

For orders collected via your chosen courier or by you, DSSE cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, or delay that occurs during transit. Once the goods have been collected from our warehouse, all liability transfers to the courier and/or customer.

5. Refund & Cancellation Policy

DSSE does not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for change of mind. Once your order has been delivered, we will not accept the return of products relating to preference, suitability, or change of mind.

In rare and exceptional circumstances, a return may be approved at DSSE management’s discretion. Any such approval will be subject to additional fees and conditions set by DSSE.

5a. Cancelling an Order

When an order is placed and a deposit is paid, inventory is immediately allocated to you and removed from sale. Cancelling an order after allocation impacts our ability to sell these products to other customers.

5b. Cancellation Within 24 Hours

If you notify us in writing at [email protected] within 24 hours of placing your order (including weekends), we will issue a full refund minus a $30 administration fee.

5c. Cancellation After 24 Hours

Cancellations requested after 24 hours will incur a 30% cancellation fee and a $30 administration fee.

5d. Cancellation After Dispatch

If goods have been dispatched but not yet delivered, the order may still be cancelled; however:

  • The customer must return the goods at their own cost.
  • Once returned to our warehouse, a 30% restocking fee and a $30 administration fee will be deducted from the refund.                                 

5e. Custom Orders

All custom orders, special-order colours, and made-to-order items require a 50% non-refundable deposit.
Any cancellation of a custom order will result in the full forfeiture of the 50% deposit.

5f. Pre-Orders & Back-Orders

Pre-order items are allocated to customers immediately once payment or deposit is received. These items are removed from general sale and held exclusively for you.

Therefore, all pre-order cancellations are treated the same as standard orders, and a 30% cancellation fee applies.

5g. Delays in ETA

All pre-order dates are estimates only and represent the approximate ETA to our warehouse. These dates cannot be guaranteed.
If your pre-order ETA is delayed by 3 weeks or more beyond the original ETA, you may request a full refund.

6. Returns Policy

Returned goods will only be accepted if the customer has obtained written return authorisation from DSSE management.

The customer is responsible for all freight costs associated with returning goods to  DSSE, including the original delivery fee and any applicable return shipping costs. This clause does not apply where the return is due to a verified fault with the goods or where the goods were damaged in transit. In such cases, DSSE will either arrange collection at its own cost or instruct the customer on the appropriate disposal method.

The customer must not return any goods without prior written approval from DSSE. Any unauthorised returns may be refused and may incur additional administration and handling fees.

All approved returns must be made in their original, unopened, unused condition and must include all original packaging, accessories, and documentation. Any signs of use, damage, missing parts, or compromised packaging may result in the return being refused or subject to additional fees.

  • For protection, customers should obtain a proof-of-lodgement receipt from their chosen carrier.
  • DSSE accepts no responsibility for parcels lost in transit.                      

6a. Promotional / Free Items

Any goods provided free as part of a promotion cannot be exchanged or refunded unless the entire promotional set is returned in full and subject to all standard conditions.

7. Refunds

  • Refunds processed through the payment platforms below will incur the following fees:
  • Stripe, Credit Cards & PayPal: 2%
  • ZIP: 5%

These fees will be deducted from the refund amount in addition to the cancellation fees mentioned above.

8. Product Images and Information

Despite every effort to provide accurate images and descriptions of each product’s colour and finish, actual colours may vary slightly due to factors such as individual device screen settings, lighting conditions at the installation site, and minor variations in manufacturing or material batches over time. DSSE does not accept responsibility for any colour or design variations that do not constitute a factory fault.

By purchasing from DSSE, you acknowledge and accept that slight differences between the product received and the online representation may occur, and such variations do not qualify as defects or grounds for return.

8a. Advice and Technical Information

DSSE may provide guidance, recommendations, technical details, specifications, drawings, descriptions, illustrations, dimensions, support, or other services concerning its products. DSSE makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of such information for any particular purpose. All such information is provided for guidance only and is approximate.

9. Tax & Charges

All orders are subject to 10% GST.

10. Warranty

DSSE provides a back-to-base warranty to the purchaser from the date of delivery.

You must inspect goods immediately upon receipt and notify DSSE in writing within 7 days at [email protected] of any:

  • damage
  • missing items
  • delivery discrepancies

Any claims made after 7 days will not be accepted and will be deemed to have occurred after delivery.

This section relates strictly to delivery damage or missing items and does not replace your consumer law rights regarding faulty products.

10a. Warranty Coverage

Standard Warranty
Unless otherwise stated, all DSSE products come with a standard 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.

Extended Warranty
Some products may carry an extended warranty period. These apply only to items displaying the relevant warranty badge on the DSSE website.

Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage or loss resulting from improper assembly, installation, or unauthorized modifications
  • Damage resulting from improper handling, transportation, or negligence by the customer or any third party not engaged by DSSE (including third-party installers)

5-Year Structural Warranty

(Only applies to products with the 5-Year Badge)
Covers the internal frame, welded joints, and main load-bearing structure.
Does not cover upholstery, padding, motors, electronics, accessories, or any cosmetic components.

2-Year Warranty – Electric Motors
Covers the motor mechanism responsible for movement and lifting.
Excludes:

  • Hand remotes
  • Control buttons
  • Wiring
  • Power supplies
  • Foot controls

    These components fall under the standard 12-month warranty.

2-Year Warranty – Vinyl Upholstery

Covers defects in the vinyl material itself (peeling, cracking, splitting) when used under normal salon conditions.
Does not cover:

  • General wear and tear
  • Stitching
  • Staining from chemicals, dyes, peroxide, tint, bleach, cosmetics, or cleaning products
  • Damage caused by improper cleaning (solvents, alcohol, kerosene, silicone sprays, etc.)
  • Cuts, abrasion, punctures, or misuse
  • Fading from sunlight exposure: Any fading, discoloration, or damage caused by direct sunlight is not covered under this warranty.

2-Year Warranty – Hydraulic Pumps

(Applicable to all salon chairs and barber chairs)
Covers the mechanical lifting mechanism of the hydraulic pump.
Does not cover:

  • Pump handles
  • Bases
  • Pump covers
  • Cosmetic parts
  • Damage caused by misuse or overloading
  • Rust or corrosion from incorrect cleaning products

Repairs

DSSE may request additional photos to assess the issue. If a repair is required, DSSE will guide the customer through a self-repair process and may provide video instructions where possible. DSSE does not have authorised service technicians for repairs. It is the customer’s responsibility to install any replacement parts provided.

DSSE does not cover or reimburse any costs for technicians hired by the customer.

Failure to notify DSSE within a reasonable period (14 days) of becoming aware, or when the defect should reasonably have been discovered, may void the warranty.

3-Year Guarantee – Italian Tapware

The guarantee covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in the tap body
  • Faults in internal components
  • Leakage caused by defective parts
  • Mechanical failure of handles, cartridges, or mixers due to workmanship defects
  • Replacement of faulty parts or full unit replacement (at DSSE’s discretion)

Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:

  • Issues resulting from high water pressure, unfiltered bore water, or contaminated water lines
  • Wear and tear, including surface scratches, water marks, or minor cosmetic blemishes
  • Blockages caused by debris, limescale buildup, sediments, or foreign particles
  • Damage caused by aggressive cleaners, chemicals, bleach, or descaling agents
  • Corrosion from improper cleaning or exposure to harsh environments
  • Misuse, neglect, modification, or tampering
  • Damage from accidental impact, dropping, or force
  • The flexible hose (this is backed by a standard 12 month warranty).

Plumbing Installation

All plumbing equipment must be installed by a licensed plumber. Documentation of the installation must be provided for any plumbing-related warranty claims. Failure to comply will void the warranty.

10b. Warranty Limitations

DSSE is not liable for:

  • abuse, misuse, or improper maintenance
  • unauthorised repairs or modifications
  • acts of nature (fire, flooding, storms, freezing, etc.)
  • normal wear and tear (including fading, chipping, stretching, upholstery wear, rusting)
  • light bulbs, fuses, or consumable components

Other limitations:

  • Vinyl is not stain-resistant. DSSE’s warranty does not cover stains, marks, discoloration, dye transfer, chemical damage, or any surface deterioration
  • Discontinued items may be replaced with comparable alternatives
  • Plumbing equipment must be installed by a licensed plumber, with documentation
  • Customers must discontinue using a faulty item to prevent further damage
  • Warranty covers the item only – not loss of business or revenue
  • Failure to return defective parts/items for assessment voids future warranty
  • DSSE will repair/replace parts within reasonable timeframes but cannot guarantee immediate availability
  • Parts beyond the warranty period may be purchased; these are supplied without warranty
  • All power equipment is rated for 230V Australia. Using different voltage or failing to use surge protection voids warranty
  • Customers outside Australia must cover all shipping fees for warranty claims          

10c. Required Maintenance

To maintain warranty coverage, customers must:

  • Inspect and tighten all bolts, screws, and knobs every 4 months
  • Dust regularly with appropriate cleaning products
  • Clean upholstery with suitable cleaners (no solvents, kerosene, alcohol, silicon, etc.) For vinyl upholstery, we recommend cleaning with “Morning Fresh” diluted in water, then wiping the surface dry thoroughly after cleaning.

10d. Making a Warranty Claim

Claims require:

  • dated proof of purchase
  • tracking number
  • copy of registered warranty
  • clear photographic evidence

If your claim is approved, DSSE will supply replacement parts at no cost. Transport to/from DSSE is the responsibility of the purchaser.

11. Incorrect Item Received

We take great care to ensure all goods you receive are correct. However, in rare cases where the item(s) you receive are not what you ordered, do not open or unseal the packaging. Items must remain in their original, unopened condition for DSSE to process the correction.

Use of the incorrect item(s) will be deemed as acceptance of the goods as a satisfactory substitute, and no further claim, replacement, or refund will be available thereafter.

Until the correct item is accepted by the customer, all incorrectly delivered goods remain the sole property of DSSE as the full legal and equitable owner. Customers must take reasonable care of the goods while in their possession.

If an incorrect item has been sent, DSSE will arrange collection and re-delivery at no additional cost to the customer.

DSSE is not liable for any loss of earnings or other costs incurred due to damaged or incorrect products received, or items missing from deliveries.

12. Disclaimer

Except as required by law, DSSE makes no representations or warranties regarding:

  • the operation of this website
  • the accuracy of content
  • the suitability of products

DSSE excludes liability for all direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of profits, or data arising from the use of our website or products, except in cases of personal injury caused by negligence.

13. Fraud Prevention & Security Checks

Orders flagged by our payment processor’s fraud-prevention systems may be subject to additional verification. DSSE reserves the right to delay, place on hold, or cancel any order that requires further security review to ensure the legitimacy of the transaction and protect both the customer and DSSE.

14. Force Majeure

DSSE is not liable for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our control, including acts of God, government actions, war, natural disasters, or transport disruptions.

15. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the DSSE website including text, graphics, images, and data is protected by intellectual property laws. You may display or print content for personal use only.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially use any website content without written consent from DSSE.

16. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your access to our website or services at any time.

17. General

These terms constitute the entire agreement between DSSE and the customer. Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of rights. If any provision is deemed invalid, the remaining terms remain in full effect.
